As scandals never miss where many people gather, today afternoon there has been a state of pulling ropes between the revelers and police at River Nile near Itanda falls. Police has been trying to stop revelers at Nyege Nyege from swimming from the Nile.

This happened after Parliament giving strict laws on how things have to be run at the festival. As police was trying to stop revelers from swimming, revelers persisted saying it’s their life and money so this doesn’t concern police in any way.

And because revelers at the festival are much more than the police provided at the scene to keep and maintain order at the Nyege Nyege festival, there was no way of police defeating the people who know how to enjoy and eat life regardless of the situation and the availability of police that couldn’t interfere with their swimming.

At the end, people defeated the police. They told the police to leave them alone because it’s their money they are enjoying. In process, police were over powered and the mature men and women were left to eat and enjoy their money.

Police however was left to observe as it’s one of their job as revelers showcase their skills in the running waters of R. Nile. River Nile is one of the longest rivers in the whole world with speedy running water which increases the risk of death to swimmers.
