Singer Sheebah Kalungi has added her voice to those of people fighting domestic violence among male celebrities. Men who are known are used to mistreating women, getting them pregnant, and dumping them with their children.
But for Weasel’s case, he didn’t dump anyone but severely beat up his wife Sandra Teta to pulp and exposed his two younger children dumping them at the gate of a bar where Sandra works.
Fellow celebrities especially women had given it a deaf ear apart from her sister in law Danielle and Sandra’s best friend Mama Ghetto who condemned it.
However after Sandra Teta’s parents with the help of the embassy of Rwanda took her back to her country Rwanda, Sheebah commented. In an interview with a local television in Rwanda, Sheebah said no woman deserves to be beaten.
Sheebah added that when a man is beating his wife, he should think about his mother being beaten by another man and in that way, he will have a heart of sympathy and stop whatever he is doing.
“I condemn the act of domestic violence and people should know no woman deserves being beaten. When a man is beating his wife he should think about his mother being beaten because she is also a woman. It is not good to beat women please,” Sheebah said.
